Sari Shatil, PT, MSc
Physiotherapist
Sari Shatil, PT, MSc is a physiotherapist with a special interest in the assessment and treatment of persons with neurological dysfunction including vestibular impairment. She is the owner of Neuphysio Rehabilitation, a multidisciplinary clinic that provides in-home, in community and clinic-based physiotherapy. She holds a B.Sc. PT from McGill University and a M.Sc. PT from The University of Western Ontario. She has over 15 years of clinical, teaching and research experience in physiotherapy. Sari has been an Associate Professor and Lecturer at The University of Western Ontario's School of Physiotherapy for over 10 years. Sari holds post-graduate certification in The Bobath Approach, in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Visual Rehabilitation and Fit fore Golf. She is the founder of TGR Therapeutic Golf Rehabilitation, a physiotherapy based program to improve balance and quality of life in persons living with injury and disease.
Elizabeth Fox, PT
Physiotherapist
Elizabeth Fox, PT is a physiotherapist with a special interest in aquatic rehabilitation. She holds an undergraduate Kinesiology degree, a BScPT, and an MScPT from the University of Western Ontario. Her thesis dealt with musculoskeletal injuries in older golfers. She has experience working throughout the continuum of acute to community-based land and aquatic physiotherapy care. She has extensive post-graduate training in aquatic rehabilitation and has authored an Aquatic Post-Rehabilitation Manual for the Canadian Aquafitness Leaders Alliance. She is published She also has extensive post-graduate training in the McKenzie approach (Part D), Chronic pain, Fit fore Golf, and the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute approach.
Brenda Son Kee, MPT
Physiotherapist
Brenda Son Kee, MPT is a physiotherapist with a special interest in neurological rehabilitation and paediatric care. She holds an undergraduate degree in Honours Kinesiology, BSc Kin, from the University of Waterloo and a Masters degree in Physiotherapy, MPT, from the University of Western Ontario. She has experience working with individuals who live with neurological dysfunction, have suffered multiple traumas and have musculoskeletal impairments, both in the community and the clinic setting across southwestern Ontario. Brenda recently made the move to London, Ontario and is the newest member of the Neuphysio Team. She finds enjoyment assisting adults and children to reach their goals, bringing meaning to the rehabilitation process. With an avid interest in golf as a leisure activity and her passion for neurological physiotherapy, Neuphysio is the perfect fit for Brenda.
Brenda holds post-graduate certifications in The Bobath Approach and Acupuncture.
Wes Robitaille, PTA
Physiotherapist Assistant
Health and wellness has always been a major part of Wes's life. Working as a yoga fit instructor was the beginning of his interest in the function of the human body. Now, as a physiotherapist assistant, he can immerse himself in the world of rehabilitation. As a part of the Neuphysio team he can aid in the transformation of people's lives, learn vast amounts of knowledge and grow as an assistant. In school he realized he had an extreme interest in Neurologic rehabilitation and that is one of the reasons why Neuphysio was a wonderful fit for him. Through his dedication, interest and contribution he hopes to help create the environment of Neuphysio, the Center of Excellence.
Cari-Lynn Walls, PTA
Physiotherapist Assistant
For as long as she can remember, Cari-Lynn has been interested in fitness, activity and helping people. She has always been an avid and active sports enthusiast - whether participating in individual or team sports or in personal fitness programs.
Cari-Lynn has held a series of job experiences in the last 15 years including gaining the certification for the Can-Fit Pro designation. She found the people - experience more rewarding than the gym. Always looking to expand her skill set, one of Cari-Lynn's current goals in process is to become a certified yoga teacher.
It was her love of physical fitness and helping others that led her to pursue a career as a physiotherapist assistant. Working with physiotherapists, the PTA designation allows Cari-Lynn the opportunity to empower people to help themselves - providing them with the tools and encouragement they need to overcome or adjust to their physical limitations.
Cari-Lynn is employed part-time for both facilities - The Downtown Clinic and Neuphysio Rehabilitation.
Amy Cooper, PTA
Physiotherapist Assistant
Amy has been in the rehabilitation field for 13 years as a PTA/OTA. She has extensive experience with community based rehab including orthopedic, spinal cord, pediatric and brain injuries.
Her experience and keen interest in neuro rehab makes her an ideal fit with the Neuphysio team. She gets an immense amount of satisfaction in helping clients regain their independence. Amy hopes to grow and gain even more knowledge by working with the team at Neuphysio, the Center of Excellence.
Lilia Golverk, MSc
Research Coordinator
Lilia Golverk is an International Medical Graduate with a special interest in Sports Medicine, Exercise Therapy, Physical Rehabilitation and Research. She has extensive experience working throughout the continuum of care. Her area of practice: Prevention and Rehabilitation in acquired brain injury, neurology, chronic pain, trauma and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Lilia has post-graduate training certification in Rehabilitation Exercises and Pilates Method Mat-Work. Her research experience includes demonstrating the effectiveness of community based stroke exercise classes. She is published in peer reviewed medical journals. Lilia's role as a Research Coordinator brings Neuphysio closer to our vision of contributing to evidence based practice through innovative care and research in a private practice setting.
Moira Cullen
Administration
Moira was born in Toronto and moved to the London area in the mid-eighties, where she joined the local soccer team, took up Karate and started a book club. After finishing high school in Strathroy, Moira continued her education by working in various administrative positions in the area. From the Strathroy Community Resource Centre to London Life Insurance Moira has a broad experience in her field. Working at Neuphysio is a great opportunity for Moira. She enjoys working with people and learning new things and Neuphysio is an ideal environment for both.
Moira continues to split her time between Neuphysio and East Park Golf Gardens, where she is also an Administrative Assistant. Moira currently resides in London and is saving up to get married.
